The Beginning

Following years spent watching motorsport from the sidelines and contenting myself with track days and road car tuning at a pastime level, I entered into karting and raced for 2 years in the Kartworld Pro-kart championship.

Having finished in championship positions 4th and 7th in those consecutive years, and experiencing some frustrating kart failures along the way, I shied away from my initial instinct to upgrade to a ‘Rotax’ kart series and instead went full out for the Caterham Roadsport Academy series in 2003.

Car racing had long been a passion of mine and having obtained my MSA ‘National B’ Race license I mounted my campaign on the world of Caterham racing!

A Podium Finish!

The season ended with me finishing 3 rd overall in the championship, which consisted of 25 drivers competing over 8 rounds. With a worst finish of 7 th and a best of 2 nd I came away delighted and satisfied and with a 1 st place race win to aim for next year!
