A Canadian charity CAS - The Christian Advocacy Society of greater Vancouver, has purchased our Online Counselling system for its counsellors.
They have recognised the need to provide online services to their clients to support the work of the regional centres and the telephone helpline.
Six counsellors will be attending a three day training session in September 2008, to learn how to use the software.
The counselling software already in use by CareConfidential in the UK (www.careconfidential.co.uk) will be supported by a web portal.
This will enable the centres across Canada to be accessed easily from the internet and help visitors to find them.
The portal will be appearing soon on www.onlinecare.ca
Visitors will soon be able to find help for both crisis pregnancy issues and post-abortion support.
It is anticipated that the whole system will be operational by the end of 2008.
